What we see this year in Syria is something painful. The poverty has increased and the corruption has also increased. There is a magical link between Poverty and corruption . They are totally connected. The more the Poverty, The higher is the corruption. Syria has Ranked 147 out of 180 countries in the international watchdog report released last month while it was ranked 93rd in 2006 and 138 last Year.

Only Sudan and Iraq are lower than Syria in the rank from the Arab Countries.

We still don’t have a real classification of the Poverty in Syria. What we can draw from the highest percentage of inflation in Syria ever that the poverty rate is flying.

The main cause of poverty and later corruption was deepening at the beginning of this Year. Syrian government under justification of fighting Diesel Trafficking to neighbor countries has increased the price of Diesel 250 %. Diesel is the blood stream of all economical activities in Syria. As a consequence of that increase, All prices have flight with a stability in the Syrians income.
