My experience in travel: A Trip across the Middle East

May be you have faced a lot of problems during your trips to and fro your home. It is something travelers used to face, however, what happened with me is something very strange and awful.

I traveled between UAE and Syria during the Eid Season. I used to travel to and fro my home (Syria) and it was a common trip for me. What happened in my last trip has pushed me to think: Why such things have happened with me?

The first issue: I missed my Passport in my house and the driver of the bus which carried me to the airport refuse to wait just five minutes till my brother bring it to me.

The second issue: After I passed the security check up and scanned my luggage, I discovered that my phone is lost. I was like a mad person at that moment. All my important phone numbers were saved in the lost mobile. After a hard search, I discovered that my mobile was with one of the police officers of the airport which had found it and looking for its owner.

The third Issue: During the final security check point, one of the officer has asked me to wait till they check the contents of my handbag. Nothing worth was inside it. They had checked my USB keyboard and my notebook computer to make sure that they have no bomb inside them!

The Fourth Issue: I was carrying a box of books with me. These books are a part of my home library which I used to carry some of its books in my trips. The custom of the Syria’s Airport asked me harshly about it and its content. I spent half an hour trying to persuade the officer that they were general reading books and any one could have it easily from any bookshop in Syria. I was at last free.
