Live the tribal life doesn’t mean living with camels, tents - Tribal life is a series of thoughts we apply on our life prohibit ourselves from doing something and permit it to do others. It is a system of life. It is something related to our values, manners... We, even though, we are living in skyscrapers, however, we in fact are living as tribes.

Tribes in thoughts and manners and values we adopt. We have proved that we are tribes. During last month, We have listened to a lot of “Fatwas” by some of Muslims religion scholars pushing us to think again if we are really a civilized persons and living in a civilized countries.

Usually, Ramadan is a month of praying and happiness. This fact is deeply adopted by our unconsciousness. During centuries, It was like that. People used to celebrate, laugh and pray. It was a pure and a crude relation between the Muslim and his God, Without an interfering from those who claimed that they are mediators between the God and people .

What happened in this Ramadan is totally strange and condemned.

All classical literatures accuse Saudi Arabia as a main Factory of Terrorism. Terrorism in its definition which is widely spread is the Act of Violence against Civil people and civil interests. At Least, this is what is known and approved by people from all over the world. This definition ignores major aspect which is talked about it at the beginning and hidden after that without justifying of that ignorance and hidden.

US and The world accused Saudi Arabia early after the 9/11 as a major exporter for terrorism. The highest percentage of those who attacked the twin tower in New York were from Saudi.

The question which has arisen after the attacks were: “how those have adopted such these thoughts and believes?” It was not clear enough how Saudi will interact with these questions and how they will answer. US has put pressure on Saudi regime to change some of curriculum.

The problem has been cornered in curricula without taking a deep look to the structure of the Saudi regime and the coalition between the scholars of those terrorists and the Saudi regime. Scholars are still free and they are growing up generation of terrorists and the world is waiting another act from them to interact.

What happened in this Ramadan is the strong coming back of those scholars to the TV stations. Tens of programs have been dedicated for them to publish their views which are mild if it has been described as extreme.

This Ramadan can easily be described as the season of extremist. All those scholars are Saudis and all its views were against women. One of them described the Islamic Headscarf as that which covers all the body consisting face. He just permits for them to have one eye excepted from veiling.

The most joking fatwa was that which prohibiting people from watching “Mickey Mouse “ and described it as the tool of Satan.

I am sorry Mustafa but this Ramadan was not the month of extremism. Ramadan is the most joyous month for most Muslims and they partake in lavish cooking, visiting relatives, and watching serials. Just because some Saudi clerics issue a few crazy decrees here and there during Ramadan does not mean they set the tone 1) most Muslims do not follow Saudi decrees anyhow 2) clerics are always issuing non-sense (and Jewish and Christian clerics are no exception) so what is the big deal that they do it now? And I have no idea what you mean when you state that Ramadan tv shows are extreme. I know Arabic and followed the Ramadan serials, I cannot think of one, let alone tens as you state, that was extreme. None of them were even religious, they all deal with historical or contemporary events that are political in nature. Where is the extremism? Please, offer some proof in writings and do not make wholesale generalizations.

In any social order on the path of God, irrespective of race colour or creed, there are always those preaching at the extremes edges or radical dangerous voices.
However There in so much good in all so much wealth to offer each other, should we not concentrate on the good and share the points of viewed differences with joy and acceptance?

I agree with Marco Villa comments. SWell written. In New Zealand the Muslim community are ones to be admired in many respects. I wish I had a family like that.
